BIO: I am a single mom of 2 awesome kids, my daughter, Courtney Decker who is 14 years old and my son Kody Decker who is 12 years old. I also am a proud step mom to Jaff Decker my 21 year old step son. These three keep me extremely busy and very happy. I'm also very close to my mom, Karen, she is my best friend. I have three brothers, two half brothers Jimmy and Mark and one full brother Ryan. My dad, Wayne, is one of fifteen children and my mom is one of six, therefore, it is safe to say I have a HUGE family. Family is very important to me. "At the end of the day all you really have is family". I have a 3 year old Kitty Cat named Princess. We call her "P" for short. She is very spoiled and rules the house for sure. She is part of the family, no doubt.
HOBBIES: Since children, my hobbies have changed drastically, although I still enjoy my old hobbies just don't get to do them as much. My hobbies now are more mellow and I look forward to my alone time where I enjoy reading, latch hooking, lying in the sun and watching my boys play baseball.
HOMETOWN: I was born and raised in Arizona, yes I am a native! I will never leave Arizona, I'm a fun in the sun kind of girl.
FAVORITE VACATION SPOTS: I haven't been fortunate to travel much in my life but anywhere there is sun, water and sand I would love to go there: Of the places I have been two of my favorite places are Durango, Colorado and San Diego California. I would love to go to Cancun Mexico, take a cruise to the islands and explore places like Hawaii, Aruba, Tahiti and other warm tropical climates.
CAREER ADVICE: Find a job/career that you are good at and that you will enjoy. Keep in mind that money isn't always the best reason to work somewhere because if you don't enjoy what you do or who you work for/with it can be a long miserable journey. And finally apply yourself to the best of your ability. We all make mistakes but this is how we learn. Stay loyal, dependable and positive, success is sure to follow.
FIRST JOB: My very first job was at Valley National Bank, which is now Chase Bank. In 1990 I worked as a receptionist downtown in the Community Affairs Dept. I was attending my senior year of high school at the time, so once I graduated I got hired on full time at the bank in the Corporate Lending Department where I started assisting loan officers and getting involved in finance.
BEST PART ABOUT WORKING AT KEAR: I work with the best group of guys and because of them it makes my job wonderful. I also enjoy Construction Accounting as well and have been very fortunate to learn from one of the best. I love working at KEAR, it rocks!
