KEAR provided prime contractor construction services on the Eunice Wastewater Treatment Plant Improvements Project in Eunice, New Mexico. This project was part of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) and was administered by the Albuquerque district of the US Army Corps of Engineers. The project involved the expansion of the existing wastewater treatment plant, along with offsite wastewater system improvements. The project is located on 23 acres and included the construction of new mixed aerated lagoons, facultative settling lagoons, effluent holding pond, influent lift station, headworks, chlorine contact basin, effluent lift station, administration building, irrigation lagoon pumping station complex and refurbishing of an existing irrigation lagoon.
