As a subcontractor to Kiewit Infrastructure West Co, KEAR provided aviation fueling system demolition and installation services as part of the T3 North Apron Reconstruction Project at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport. The overall project involved removing and replacing the existing concrete apron around T3 North, upgrades to drainage systems, and upgrades to the existing hydrant fuel system. KEAR's scope includes complete terminal loop drain-down and isolation, 14 new hydrant pits, removal of 28 existing hydrant pits, lateral piping, abandonment of an existing isolation valve vault, cathodic protection system installation, and complete system testing, flushing, and commissioning.
